This 15-day Jewish Heritage & Kosher Journey has been carefully designed to combine the country’s most important Jewish sites with authentic cultural experiences, beautiful landscapes, and meaningful encounters with local people.
Beginning in Casablanca and ending in Marrakech, this journey takes you through Morocco’s Imperial Cities, the Rif Mountains, the blue streets of Chefchaouen, the spiritual city of Fez, the Sahara Desert, the Dades Valley, and the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will explore historic Jewish Mellahs, synagogues, cemeteries, and pilgrimage sites that tell the story of Morocco’s rich Jewish heritage and the longstanding coexistence between Jewish and Muslim communities.
One of the highlights of the tour is a visit to the sacred shrine of Rabbi Amram Ben Diwan in Ouazzane, one of the most important Jewish pilgrimage sites in Morocco. You will also discover the Jewish history of Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, Sefrou, the Sahara region, and Marrakech, gaining a deeper understanding of the communities that helped shape the country’s history and culture.
Beyond the heritage sites, this journey offers opportunities to experience everyday Moroccan life. Day 1 : Arrival in Casablanca
Upon your arrival at Casablanca Airport, we will warmly welcome you to Morocco and begin our journey directly Casablanca visit, beginning with the magnificent Hassan II Mosque overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, followed by the Corniche area and the coastal promenade. We will also visit the Jewish Museum, the Beth-El Synagogue, and explore the city’s important cultural and historical landmarks, offering a deep insight into Casablanca’s Jewish and modern Moroccan heritage.

Day 2 – Casablanca – Rabat
After your relaxing breakfast we start the drive to Rabat. After check-in at your hotel, you will have time to relax, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, The hotel setting offers a calm and comfortable environment where you can rest and recover.

Day 3 –Rabat Sightseeing
After breakfast, we begin a beautiful cultural discovery of Rabat at a relaxed pace. The day is dedicated to exploring the city’s rich history and heritage, including its Jewish quarter, ancient synagogues, the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum, as well as the charming old Medina.
Later, we continue with a short drive to my sister’s home, where you will be welcomed into a warm local family atmosphere and enjoy a very authentic homemade Moroccan lunch ( Kosher Moroccan salads , Shakshouka ) . After this beautiful cultural moment, you will return to your hotel for a relaxing free afternoon.

Day 4 –Rabat – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we leave Rabat and begin our scenic journey towards the blue city of Chefchaouen. The drive itself is a beautiful transition through Morocco’s changing landscapes, from the Atlantic influence to the Rif Mountains. we will make a special stop in Ouazzane, one of Morocco’s important spiritual towns, where we will visit the holy site of Rabbi Amram Ben Diwan. This sacred place carries deep historical and spiritual significance for the Jewish community in Morocco and remains an important pilgrimage site visited by Jewish travelers from around the world Lunch ( kosher Picnic ) Upon arrival, you will settle into your hotel and enjoy free time to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of this magical blue town. ending the day with a beautiful sunset at the Spanish Mosque, where you will enjoy a panoramic view over the entire blue city from above.

Day 5 – Chefchaouen & Akchour Experience ( hiking )
After breakfast, we drive into nature towards Akchour, a breathtaking area known for its rivers, waterfalls, and mountains. Here you will enjoy an easy and refreshing hike surrounded by natural beauty and pure air. ( Picnic Lunch ) In the afternoon, we return to Chefchaouen, where you can relax and refresh at your hotel. At 4 p.m., we take you for a walking experience through the blue streets of Chefchaouen,

Day 6 –Chefchaouen – Fez
Friday , Be happy, it’s Shabbat
We start our journey towards Fez, one of Morocco’s most historical and spiritual cities. The drive offers beautiful countryside views. Upon arrival in Fez, you will check into your traditional riad and enjoy a peaceful evening at leisure. Lunch picnic,
( dinner , of Friday , Lunch for Saturday and dinner for Saturday will be packed from a Jewish community center )
Day 7 – May 8 – Fez Sightseeing (Jewish Heritage Included)
It’s Shabbat, the ticket are already paid on Friday morning Today is dedicated to discovering Fez, a city that carries centuries of history and deep cultural heritage. Walking through its ancient medina feels like stepping back in time, where traditions, craftsmanship, and daily life remain deeply preserved. During the day, you will also explore the Jewish Mellah, where Jewish communities once lived alongside Moroccan society, as well as historic synagogues and important cultural landmarks. The experience continues through artisan quarters, traditional workshops, and hidden corners of the medina, offering a truly authentic cultural immersion. The rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Fez.

Day 8 –Fez – Bhalil – Sefrou – Ifrane
Today we explore some of the most authentic and hidden places around Fez. We begin with the village of Bhalil, known for its unique cave houses and traditional lifestyle, where families have lived in harmony for generations. We will visit a local family , stay with them in their cave house, I will make you a great kosher picnic We then continue to Sefrou, a peaceful town rich in history and once home to a strong Jewish community, often referred to as “Little Jerusalem.” From there, we continue towards Ifrane, a charming mountain town known for its European-style architecture and fresh natural surroundings. The day is filled with cultural encounters, local life, and beautiful scenery before arriving in Ifrane for an overnight stay.

Day 9 – Ifrane – Sahara Desert
After breakfast, we depart Ifrane and begin our journey towards the Sahara Desert. The road takes us through cedar forests, mountain landscapes, Berber villages, and the beautiful Ziz Valley, offering a dramatic change in scenery. Lunch kosher picnic By the evening, we arrive in the desert, where you will enjoy a 15 minutes Jeep ride through the golden dunes and witness a magical sunset over the Sahara. Dinner and overnight will be in a luxury desert camp under the stars.

Day 10 – Sahara Desert Experience
You will wake up in the peaceful silence of the desert and enjoy a full day immersed in this unique environment. The day is dedicated to relaxation, exploration of the dunes, then We will start with a one-hour drive to Rissani, where you will explore the lively traditional market. This is one of the most authentic markets in the region, where locals from more than 360 surrounding villages gather to sell their products. The town is deeply rooted in agriculture and desert trade, and you will experience a true glimpse of everyday southern Moroccan life. After the visit, we continue with a relaxed walk of around 40 minutes to enjoy the surroundings and local atmosphere. Then we head to a local family house, where you will take part in a traditional kosher Berber pizza cooking class. You will learn how locals prepare this traditional dish in a simple and authentic way, before enjoying your homemade lunch in a warm family setting. In the Sahara Desert region, we will visit the house of the Abu Hassira family, where the family once lived, offering a meaningful insight into the Jewish history and presence in southern Morocco. We will also visit the Jewish cemetery in the Sahara Desert, a peaceful and historical place that reflects the rich Jewish heritage that existed for generations in this unique region of Morocco. In the afternoon, we return to the Sahara Desert area, where you will experience a camel ride of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes across the golden dunes leading to your luxury camp. For those who prefer, there is also the option to go by jeep or enjoy an ATV quad experience instead of the camel ride . You will spend a second night in the luxury desert camp, enjoying traditional music, warm hospitality, and a magical desert atmosphere.

Day 11 – Sahara – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we leave the desert and travel through stunning landscapes, oases, and ancient kasbahs towards the Dades Valley. The journey itself is part of the experience, revealing the natural beauty of southern Morocco. Upon arrival, you will settle into your accommodation and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by mountains and nature.

Day 12 – Dades Valley Experience
This day is dedicated to discovering the beauty of the Dades Valley. You will enjoy a gentle hike through the valley, passing rivers, traditional villages, and dramatic rock formations. It is a day of nature, calmness, and authentic encounters with local life. The night will be at the same hotel Kosher picnic Kosher dinner
Day 13 – Dades – Aït Ben Haddou – Marrakech

We continue our journey towards Marrakech in the early morning , passing through Skoura oasis and Ouarzazate. One of the highlights of the day is the visit to Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic kasbahs. While crossing the beautiful High Atlas Mountains, we will also visit the holy site of David HaShomer, an important spiritual place surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes. This visit offers a unique opportunity to connect with the Jewish spiritual heritage hidden within Morocco’s remote and authentic mountain regions. before crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Day 14 – Marrakech Sightseeing (Jewish Heritage Included)
Today we discover the vibrant city of Marrakech, where history, culture, and daily life come together in a unique atmosphere. You will explore the Jewish Mellah, Lazama Synagogue, Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the lively medina filled with colors, sounds, and traditions. The day continues in Jemaa el-Fna square, where the energy of Marrakech comes alive, especially in the evening. Snacks with Chabbad Morocco
Day 15 – Marrakech to Casablanca
After days filled with unforgettable landscapes, rich culture, warm hospitality, and meaningful connections, it is time to say goodbye to Morocco.
Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Casablanca Airport for your departure. As you journey home, take with you the memories of ancient medinas, breathtaking deserts, stunning coastlines, and the friendships created along the way.
