10 days Morocco Discovery tour from Casablanca. In these 10 days / 9 nights, you will visit the four imperial cities, the Sahara desert and so many spectacular places. Firstly, we start the tour by a visit to Casablanca city, then Rabat the capital of Morocco. In addition Tangier to Chefchaouen the blue city and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Also a guided tour in Fes the cultural city, and Meknes the Ismaili capital. Visit as well the Switzerland of Morocco Ifrane, and the cedars forest. Then visit Midelt, the amazing Ziz valley, and Rissani traditional market. After that, Erfoud the fossils town, and the stunning Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you can ride camels and spend the night in a luxury camp in the middle of the desert. Enjoy magical sunset and sunrise in the Sahara.

The best Morocco 10 days tour itinerary from Casablanca will allow you to discover Morocco’s attractions and most visited places. For instance, you will visit the north, Tangier, and Chefchaouen. Also, south and west, Merzouga desert and red city of Marrakech.

 

Day 1 : Casablanca to Rabat.

We will start our Morocco 12 days tour by visiting Casablanca. We will take you to visit the mosque of Hassan II, the only mosque that none Muslims can enter. After that, we will take you to discover the old Medina and the Cornish.

Our second stop will be Rabat. Firstly, we will visit the Chellah and Hassan mosque or tower. Secondly, we will visit Oudayas and have a walk in the old Medina. Overnight will be in Lovely private Riad in Rabat

Day 2 : Rabat to Chefchaouene.

Start the day with breakfast at the Riad before we hit the road to Chefchaouen.

Our journey takes us through the breathtaking Rif Mountains, offering scenic views along the way. By lunchtime, we’ll stop at a peaceful poolside oasis to enjoy a delicious introduction to Moroccan cuisine.

In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-washed streets and rich Andalusian history. This magical town was a refuge for Jews and Moroccans during the Spanish Inquisition, and its charm is unforgettable.

After settling into our stunning riad, you’ll have time to relax or wander before we gather for a cozy group dinner.

3rd day : Chefchaouen – The Roman ruins of Volubilis- Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, feel free to wander in the beautiful alleyways, of the blue city  Chefchaouen. Then we drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with ancient pillars and archways. After strolling in the ruins, we drive 30 km to visit Meknes. The Ismaili capital and one of the imperial cities. In which we visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary and finally, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then we head to Fes. Overnight stay in a Riad.

4th day : Fes sightseeing

Start your morning with a hearty breakfast at our riad before diving into the rich history and vibrant culture of Fez, the cultural heart of Morocco.

Our day begins with a guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s most complete medieval Islamic cities. Walking through its ancient gates feels like stepping back in time. The narrow streets, built in the 8th century, wind between high walls that keep the courtyards cool and shaded.

During the tour, we’ll explore Fez’s famous souks, brimming with handcrafted treasures. Visit the iconic tannery, where leather is dyed in colorful vats, and discover exquisite carpets, pottery, and traditional tiles.

For lunch, we’ll enjoy a meal in the medina, soaking in the lively atmosphere.

After some free time to relax at the riad, we’ll cap off the day with a special dinner hosted by a Moroccan family in their home. They’ll prepare a traditional chicken pastilla a delicate and flavorful Moroccan dish and share their customs and stories over tea. This intimate experience is sure to be one of the most memorable moments of our trip.

5th day : Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara

Enjoying a delicious breakfast before embarking on a road trip like no other!

Journey to the Sahara Desert

We’ll spend the day traveling through the breathtaking Middle Atlas Mountains, where every turn offers a new surprise. Our first stop is Ifrane, fondly called the “Moroccan Switzerland,” with its charming alpine-style architecture.

Next, we visit the cedar forests near Azrou, a stark and magical contrast to the rugged surroundings. Here, we’ll meet the playful Barbary apes—be ready to snap some photos, and if you’re lucky, you might spot a tiny baby monkey!

As we descend through the Middle Atlas, we’ll pass through the lush Ziz Valley, a palm-filled oasis offering a burst of green amid the desert terrain. We’ll stop for lunch along the way before continuing through Erfoud and Rissani, arriving at the edge of the Sahara Desert. and our night will be in the best Riad in The region , very private and great for a dinner party .

6th day : Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove

Tea with Nomads

Begin the morning with a visit to a nomad family living in a traditional Berber tent. They’ll warmly welcome you with a cup of tea as you learn about their daily life, centered around herding cattle, goats, and camels amidst the vast desert landscape.

ATV Adventure in the Dunes

Gear up for a thrilling experience as you ride ATVs across the stunning golden dunes of the Sahara. This adrenaline-filled adventure is sure to be one of your trip highlights!

Visit a Local School

Next, we’ll stop at a local Berber school, where you’ll meet children, play games, and teach a bit of English. You’ll also have the chance to donate school supplies, creating a meaningful connection with the local community.

Cooking Class with Ibrahim’s Mother

A true highlight of the day awaits as you join Ibrahim’s mother for an unforgettable cooking class in the heart of the Sahara. Learn to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes like Berber pizza, couscous, and Moroccan harira. These are not just recipes but lifelong skills and cherished memories you’ll carry with you.

After the cooking class, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring the dishes you helped create. Then, relax in the shade, or simply soak in the peaceful desert ambiance.

Sunset Camel Ride

In the late afternoon, we go on a camel caravan across the dunes. Watch as the sun dips below the horizon, casting breathtaking hues over the sands an experience that will forever stay etched in your memory.

Dinner and Drum Circle

The evening comes alive back at camp with a flavorful dinner, followed by a traditional Berber drum circle and dance party under the starlit sky. Sip mint tea, join in the music, and let the magic of the desert wrap around you.

7th day : Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After breakfast, we leave the desert to visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani still a major trading center in the region, with a large lively souk ( Traditional market ).

After a stroll in Rissani Souk, we continue to Erfoud, where we visit one of the workshops of fossilized marble. Then we drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves, to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of Todra river has carved out a grand red cliff-sided canyon through the mountains. These gorges are an ideal place for rock climbers. Feel free to wander in the gorges and appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. Then we continue to the Dades valley, through Boumalne Dades. Inevitable stops at the “monkey fingers” rock formation. And on a spot atop a mountain overlooking the Dades valley. Finally, dinner and overnight in a Great Riad.

8th day : Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Telouet – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we continue our trip to Kalaa Magouna, to visit the Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where the locals offer their rose products. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura. Later, we reach Ouarzazate, also known as the gate of the desert. We will visit the studios, in which famous movies were shot.

We depart to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including : Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy…etc. And in TV series including Game Of Thrones. Then we continue to Marrakech. Driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, and the High Atlas Mountains. Stops will be made for lunch, and to take pictures at interesting spots. Overnight stay in a Riad in Marrakech.

9th day : Guided Tour sightseeing Marrakech

Start the day early with a breathtaking hot air balloon ride over the Atlas Mountains. This optional experience will offer you stunning views of the vast landscapes as the sun rises.

After the ride, we’ll head back to our riad for a delicious breakfast on the rooftop, where you can take in the beautiful surroundings.

The rest of the day is yours to explore Marrakech at your own pace. You can wander through the lively souks and shop for unique treasures, visit the peaceful Jardin Majorelle, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the riad. For those who prefer a more guided experience, an optional tour is available to show you the must-see highlights of the city.

In the evening, we’ll gather for our farewell dinner, complete with a lively show at a local restaurant.

10th day : Transfer to the airport!
