The first day of our 3 DAYS TOUR CAMEL TREKKING journey begins when you arrive at our hotel in Merzouga, park your vehicle in a secure lot, and begin preparing your gear for the desert. In the late afternoon, around two hours before dusk, you’ll leave for Morocco and go straight into the heart of the Sahara.
During the walk, you will stop in the midst of the Sahara to snap photographs and appreciate the sceneries till the sun goes down; if you’re interested in sandboarding, you’ll have an opportunity to try it out; and you’ll get to see one of the most magnificent sunsets Morocco has to offer.
The next stop is the camp, where you may unwind with a cup of mint tea before supper. After supper, you may relax in a Berber-style tent camp while listening to traditional drumming music and gazing at the stars.
The second day, get up early to see the dawn over the dunes; it’s a sight to behold! After breaking for breakfast, we’ll travel for a few hours to reach our next location, stopping halfway for lunch at a secluded oasis in the midst of the sand dunes. we hope that you are enjoying your 3 days tour camel trekking.
Spending the second night with a native Berber nomad family will provide you a wonderful opportunity to interact with locals and get insight into the nomadic lifestyle of the Sahara.
The third day, we’ll get up before dawn to witness the sunrise, have breakfast, then ride camels for 1.5-2 hours to reach our next camp further in the desert. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal and mint tea under a desert tree while taking in the sights and sounds of the sand dunes. In the evening, when everyone has watched the sun go down, there will be a hearty, traditional supper and then everyone may retire to their cozy mattresses.
The fourth day, wake up early to see the sunrise and snap some stunning photos; then, after a hearty breakfast and a refreshing wash back at camp, begin the return camel journey to your starting location (or let us arrange a ride straight to the village).
